Basic Yoga Fitness Tips & Routines 
At Olve, it’s no secret the benefits of Yoga. It’s a great addition to any fitness routine. It actually does more than burn calories and tone muscles. It’s a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses to support you both physically, mentally as well as emotionally.

Many of us say we want to incorporate yoga or meditation into our daily routines, but putting that into practice and maintaining it for the long haul isn't always that simple. Here are a few tricks to help you get started and some routines you can follow.

Get a mat and grab your accessories: one of the best things about yoga is that you don’t need much equipment – just a mat and any props  that can help your alignment and make your poses more comfortable

Make some space: try to find a quite and peaceful place to practice 

Stay safe and prevent injury: be mindful of your body’s vulnerable areas (knees, hips, spin etc.). If you feel any painful sensations, adjust or soften. Don’t force or push yourself out of the pose

Choose your yoga routine: pick a style, teacher, specific use or class duration that suits you best. For some inspiration check out @adrienelouise on Instagram!


And finally, have some fun! There are going to be times where postures are really intense and you want to quit. But remember Yoga can and should be an escape for you where you can detach from the craziness of life and reconnect with your body
