Tell us what you do? and how you came about your side hustle(s)?
I'm an entrepreneur at my core so I am involved in a number of different things but most of my days are spent focused on my brand agency. I launched it five years ago after having spent many years working on all sides of the business - agency, property and brand. When I moved to Toronto several years ago, I saw an incredible opportunity as there are so many amazing companies and brands based here and I recognized the potential to help people was limitless. I absolutely love what I do.
What about your work brings you true joy?
I love that our client roster is diverse so we get to learn about different industries all the time. Because of this, we leverage different tools (digital, live event, partnerships) to bring their brands to life which makes every day interesting and fun.
What has been your most valuable learnings?
Relationships are really important and it's important that people have the same level of integrity to make a partnership succeed.
If you could learn to do anything, what would that be?
I'd love to write a kids book someday so learning the process of publishing a book would definitely be on my list of things to learn.
If you could be any fictional character, who would it be and why?
Wonder Woman - she has always been strong, athletic and can kick butt. Didn't all little girls want to grow up to be her?!
Can you describe an experience/incident that happened that made you a stronger person?
When I was 25, I quit my good job, sold my belongings and moved to California. I was so proud that I had put this crazy dream of mine into action. It was not easy to achieve it and there were many bumps along the way but that experience definitely made me a stronger person, reminding me that anything you set your mind to is possible.
If you could give your past self any advice, what would it be?
Stop sweating the small stuff!
