What is spiritual wellness? In our journey to uncover and learn more about it, we learned quickly it is about connecting with what is meaningful to you in a way that lightens or enriches your spirit. It could be something that deeply moves you, the feeling of being alive or spiritually connected to a higher power. So how does spiritual wellness relate to health? It can bring comfort and strength when handling life's challenges, making decisions and choices easier. Or it may help us heal when suffering from a physical or mental condition, with the right mindset. So, what can you do to improve your spiritual wellness? It is best to figure out what techniques work for you, but it might help to ask yourself some questions. In doing so, it may give insight into yourself that will help you on your spiritual journey.

Who am I?
What am I thankful for? How do I feel when I focus on gratitude?
What gives me hope?
What gives my life meaning?
What do I value the most?
What life experiences are meaningful for me?
Remember, what is spiritual for you is very personal. And it is for you to define.

It enhances your understanding (and reasoning) of events and behaviors; you are better able to handle situations
It builds mindfulness overtime, allowing you of letting go of things that are not under your control
Start to think positively, you will find yourself thinking differently and refocusing your mind to a happy, healthy place
When striving to practice Spiritual wellness take time to be in nature, to meditate, or to journal or any other method that helps you return to the present moment over and over are great practices for spiritual wellness.
