Kids Bathroom Reimagined
When designing a kid’s bathroom, we wanted to make the room bright, airy, and fun!
To make the space feel spacious, we decided to go with a wall mounted vanity and a classic round mirror. We also wanted a pop of colour - not something too dramatic in order to keep the space classic and timeless.

The navy colour we chose, Newburyport Blue by Benjamin Moore is not muted like the common chosen Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy. Newburyport has the right amount of brightness for that pop we were looking for without being too bold.
We paired the vanity with brass details for that classic touch. The vanity’s pulls are from CB2 - Cody line. We love the ribbed detail detailing - it's surprising how much of an impact a small detail can make. If you are looking for unique hardware, we highly recommend CB2.
We also designed the sink to be off centered so that we were able to add unique lighting fixture that is practical, while acting like a statement piece
Now for the fun part. We searched high and low for the perfect wallpaper that stood out, but something that would also grow and work with the kids over time.
We found this novelty wallpaper from York Wallcovering, quirky little dogs dressed up in metallic accessories. How cute are they?

We switched out the bathtub and installed classic subway tiles with new brass faucet/shower fixtures by Rubinet to add some glam.
The walls we kept it neutral and painted them Benjamin More Intense White. Which compliment the wallpaper and the navy vanity.
We also made the floors appear seamless by opting for oversized 24 x 48 tiles. The grey acid wash tone we chose adds some depth and movement.
Overall, this bathroom had us swooning after it was complete. The kids love the new space. it's bright and fun - and they are currently naming each dog on the wallpaper as a fun game. We couldn’t be more happier!
