Get Ready to Spook up your Home
With Halloween right around the corner, you might be wondering how you can embrace the spooky season! And like many of you, we are getting ready to spook up our home – both indoors and out. Here are some creative ideas that will ensure every inch of your house will look unique and festive this season—not to mention scary!
Spook Free Front Porch: The front porch is another great way to decorate for fall and Halloween. This year, we put together a mini pumpkin patch, by using an array of different coloured pumpkins We also thought it would be fun to include elements of hay, wood crates to give that farm/harvest feel. We bought a little red truck from @Micheals and fill it up with mini pumpkins. |
Spooktacular Mantel: Add Halloween spirit to your living room with a mantel décor, including homemade decorations and festive pumpkins. These cute and spooky crafts will bring style and scares to complete your fall look. For a Halloween mantel, we chose black, white and shades of purple. Metallics are a must for any well-style vignette, so we mixed in gold for an added touch of glam. We found these cute pumpkins and Dracula gnome @Homesense. The mini gold + black pumpkins, including the spider garland was found on amazon! |
Go a little Batty What can be more traditional for Halloween décor than bats? These little cuties are a Halloween symbol and you can decorate each space bringing in the Halloween spirit. You can keep it simple and just add a few flapping paper bats or really make Halloween magic by creating a wall display for a Halloween party, or to welcome trick-or-treaters on Halloween night. You can find these decorative bats on amazon. |
Frightfully Scary Front Porch Turn your front porch into ghoulish delight with these simple ideas that can be bought on a budget, but they are scarily good. You can create a spooktastic world with a creepy entrance that includes a welcome sign, tombstones, skeletons, and little pumpkins for a pop of colour. Many of our finds were from @homedepot @homesense and @Micheals. |
The above ideas are simple ways to incorporate a little frightful to your home. Happy Halloween from the OLVE Family.
