While exercising regularly and eating better is important in our everyday routines, it’s equally important to carve out time for some ‘self-care and pampering’, especially when you can’t go to the Spa to unwind and relax.
Relax and kick back this weekend with a DIY Ayurvedic Facial to rejuvenate your skin and pamper yourself by bringing the spa home. This DIY face mask recipe is nourishing, exfoliates dead skin and best of all, it uses 100% natural ingredients so you can feel good about using it!

Ingredients:
Chickpea Flour (AKA Besan in the South Asian Community), 1 tablespoon: It’s a miracle ingredient when it comes to ‘exfoliating’ in a gentle way.
Yoghurt, 1 tablespoon: acts as a cooling agent and soothes the skin
Honey, 1 teaspoon: Stimulates the skin, making it supple and encourages blood flow
Turmeric, ¼ teaspoon: has antibacterial properties and provides a healthy to the skin
Method: Bring Yogurt to room temperature and combine all items together to create a smooth paste. Apply to the face using upwards strokes and circular motion.
Leave on for 15-20 minutes and wipe off with a damp cloth.
