Easter Activities for the Whole Family
We have learned that Arts and Crafts are the best way to keep kids occupied, and also a great way to get into the spirit of the current celebrations. With Easter around the corner, we thought we would share some fun ideas we found.
Easter is at the perfect time of year. The weather is getting better, the moods are changing and everything around you is alive and getting brighter by the day. It's also a great time to bring out all the fun and games you can handle.
Typically Easter is known for an epic Egg Hunt - with everyone looking for what the big bunny has brought you - however, we found some other ideas to help you celebrate throughout the spring season.

A bean bag toss is always a fun game with the family. However, to place an Easter spin on it, switch up the game by - you guessed it, making it a bunny toss. Our friends at Pink Stripy Socks has an easy DIY Bunny Bean Bag Toss you can make yourself with simple materials from your craft store and your kitchen (lentils for the beans in the bags) How about adding a little something to your traditional egg hunt? Using the plastic eggs, mix and match the tops and bottoms. Create a bingo card with images of those mixed and matched options and as the kids find the different eggs, they can stamp their bingo card. first one that gets a row - can win an extra prize. You can hide pastel coloured balloons filled with water - and host a water balloon fight. The catch is you have to find one before you can toss it at someone! Another idea is to get the kids together and some burlap sacks with a bunny tail obviously glued to the back. Kids can hop around for a good ol fashioned sack race as they dart around the outdoors looking for hidden easter treasures.
