It's winter, it's cold, it's boring … but wait - we need to get out of this rut and get out. However, I understand we can't really get out - but here are some indoor date ideas that you will love.
Mini Movie Night
A movie night with a bit of a twist. Get a mini projector, some candy, popcorn and a blanket. Host a cozy movie night inside or outside (weather permitting) and enjoy time with your significant other with your own snack bar set up!
Chef it Up
Pull out the good dishes, light some candles, turn on some music and try your hand at a new recipe or participate in an online cooking class together (maybe make it a competition!). The winner has to prepare dinners all week!
Sweat Sesh
Lace up your sneakers, or cue up an online workout class that you can try together. You'll feel like you did something good for your body and spirit while spending time with that special someone!
Become a Mixologist
Up your cocktail game and try to make each other a signature cocktail or shot. Try your hand at creating a cocktail of your own (that you can pull out at parties when we are able to again).
Picnic Indoors
The best part of this idea is that you don't have to worry about the weather! Do all the things you normally do and instead, find a cozy spot in your home to pay out a blanket, a set up of your favourite dishes and snacks and snuggle up with some music and enjoy your very own version of tapas for two!
Music
Maybe turn the TV off, put your phones away and celebrate a throw back - musically. Put together a playlist of old and even new songs that make you smile. You'll be surprised at all the happy memories you will share as you recall some of your favourite tunes. It also is a great way to just talk and learn a little more about each other. Start with some club bangers and transition to some more romantic tunes.

Whatever you decide to do, just remember to make some time for one another. The hardest thing about the times we are living in, is that it often feels like we get stuck going through the motions. So make the time to have a special day/night. Your mind and soul, and your relationship will be better off for it.
