Christmas Decor Ready!
If you are anything like us - you are ready for Christmas already! In my house, we wait until Remembrance Day is over, and then we get into the festive mood. To get started, we have some of our favourite tips to help you on your décor this season.
Add cozy vibes with fabrics and textures. This can be done by throwing a flannel blanket on your furniture or adding some festive pillows. Also, adding some wooden or clay decor to the coffee table and mantle is easy. Pieces like clay trees or wooden ornaments.
Add greenery and natural elements. For instance, fresh branches to the tops of hutches and table tops. Also a wooden bowl with some branches, greenery and fairy lights adds that festive feel.
Wreathes for the doors inside and out - is a must! And stockings everywhere. Hanging on the entry way console, the sofa table - everywhere!
Another hack is to get separate trees for the kids. We always have a themed tree in our common living spaces - but a tree in the kids' bedrooms brings them the Christmas magic and that is where they can hang their homemade ornaments or whatever they wish.
Candles and lights everywhere as well. The scents from your favourite festive candles will add that ambience as well as twinkling lights - on the tree, on the mantle, in the wreathes - in the garland on the table. It adds that right amount of festive glow.
